![]() ![]() Without his help, it can be presumed that every main quest would have come to a dead end, with dire consequences and time paradoxes to follow. He is without doubt an important piece, if not catalyst, for at least 2 of the as of yet 3 chapters. Considering that this series does not mind killing off main characters (Tahar) or shove presumably important ones aside (pretty much any of the other circles mages, Isgrimm in SH in particular), this seems extremely peculiar. First as a temporary ally, then a playable character, and then the giver of the main quest. Though the (as of yet) 3 Chapters of Spellforce 3 have their own self-contained stories, with Soul Harvest somewhat tied to the Original, it is Raith who has appeared in the flesh in all three of them. Why does Spellforce 3 have an overarching focus on him in particular? However, this nonetheless brings up a point that I would like to discuss with this community. So, by now you are probably aware that the Masked Stranger is indeed Raith Skaddar, which admittedly was not a surprise to most players from what I have read. If you have not yet played any (or rather all) of Spellforce 3's content, I highly advice you from refraining to read any further due to spoilers.
